Vincenzo Libri is Professor of Translational Neurology at University College London-Institute of Neurology and Consultant in Clinical Pharmacology at UCLH-National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. He is Director of the NIHR UCLH Clinical Research Facility and Director of the Masters in Translational Neuroscience at UCL. He is Chair of the Health Research Authority-London Chelsea Research Ethics Committee and Visiting Professor in Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Naples, Italy. His main research interests include Motor Neurone Disease/ALS, Alzheimer's disease, Friedreich's ataxia, and SARS-COV-2 vaccine trials. He is Principal Investigator of several early phase clinical trials in neurodegenerative diseases targeting innovative therapeutic targets, including antisense oligonucleotides.
